Without changing to the 95+ timing cover and opti I'm fairly sure you are limited to the OEM timing set or finding a custom shop and that can't be cheap.
What will be your target shift point RPM with your new mods?
I think the stock timing set would work but would begin to stretch if you spend much time at 6k. The LT4 chain ($60 p/n 12555887) should fit the LT1 gears and won't stretch as easily. When the search function returns verify that as I'm going from memory. The LT4 Extreme duty chain won't fit since it is a double roller.

I didn't think of using the LT4 chain on LT1 sprockets
Just got around to order the parts but i cannot find the oem LT1 timing chain set or even the correct sprockets. Can i just use the old sprockets with 100k miles on them? My common sense tells me to install a complete kit as opposed to just a new chain...
Search the forum or wait for someone to weigh in on this but I seem to remember that the LT4 gears (crank&cam) will fit but you will have to either remove the pin on the cam gear or press it in so that it sticks out the back not the front.
