Looking for help/input On Coil/Plug setup !! (LTX valve covers)
Hi everyone ! Basically looking for input on what people are using to mount their coils to their valve covers and what types of coils etc.
Long story short I have an LTX motor being assembled (I will be putting a huge post up with tons of pics on this new project soon
) and I am running Gen7 DFI with a distributor because of the rpms the motor will see. The old motor spun to 7800 but I was never happy with timing accuracy especially at high rpms. I am looking into getting a much more accurate crank trigger off the balancer and using the cam sync from the distributor. Going this route I will also be looking into installing the new Coil/plug system Accel makes so I can run a coil on plug setup. I am thinking of using the lsx coils msd makes for the good looks they provide and am looking for info on how people are mounting coils on their covers and if anyone makes brackets etc.
