Default EGR sensor

The motor has starting to surge during idle.... It will start fine and idle good for about a minute and then it will start surging...I am checking the EGR sensor--- I have about 27ohm's on the sensor but when I check the plug I have nothing as far as volts or ohm's.. With the igintion on what kind of volts should be going to the plug????? I have replace the MAF-O2sensor-ICS-TPS it is set a .54 -EGR valve-Knock sensor-fuel filter--check fuel pressure-- check the fuel injectors 7 of the are at 17ohms and 1 is at 13ohms. Check real hard for a vacum leaks--cannot find any....

Thanks $300vett....

You effectively take the EGR out of the equation by, first testing the EGR with a hand vacuum pump, pull a vacuum with the pump the egr diaphram should move up, you can see it with a flash light, it should also hold the vacuum, if it bleeds off right away the diaphram is no good and you will have to replace the EGR. but to test for the surge, remove the thin vacuum line from the EGR and cap off the end of the vacuum line with electrical tape so it doesnt leak, the EGR now will remained closed. Test run the car and see if you have the surging.
