My race weight is 3270 lbs.

That is with no spare, 1/4 tank of gas and me(about 170 lbs).

The weight seems light to me , but that is what the Englishtown scale has shown on many occasions.

I weighed my 87 on the Rt.66 scale and came out to 3270 with me (210) and the fuel was in between 1/2 and 1/4. All other fluids were full. So that would make mine 3130 or so w/o me and a full tank of gas. Sounds like curb weight is taken when full of gas and fluids. :yesnod:

3300 lbs with half a tank of gas without driver. This is with nothing removed. I had it weighed at a moving company. Their scale is calibrated every month.

Wow 240 lb is a nice amount of reduction :)...

I'd be interested also... I know my spare tire is about 35 lb.. I also changed to Weld Pro Star wheels... another 50 lb. I suppose if I removed the AC and related parts I'd get another 50 out..I also installed a Vigilante 9" converter, that was a lot lighter than my stock one, & removes the mufflers another 30lb.

As of now I weigh 3400 with me in the car and 1/4 tank of gas.

I was thinking of a plexyglass rear window... but have no idea where or how much $$ one would be?

I think Exotic Muscle sells front, side and rear replacement Lexan for the C4.

My 1991 6speed weighs 3255 with weld 15x3.5's/radials on front, 15x10/et streets on back with 6-7 gal. of fuel. This includes a full NO2 bottle (25lbs.), stock dual mass flywheel, and 5 pt. roll bar. The only weight removed is the spare tire and jack. I weigh 180, but when you add the helmet and firesuit it becomes 190, hense the 3445lbs raceweight.

My 95 weighed 3380 lbs last time I weighed it. This was before removing the stock exhaust manifolds and cats. I probly lost 40-50 lbs there. This was in race trim with 17x11 afs zr-1 wheels and a full tank of gas.

At launch with 1/4-1/3 tank of fuel my '88 and I weigh in at 3350-3370lbs; I weigh about 170lbs and the spare & jack delete is about 50lbs. So the curb weight is:
3350(total)-170(me)+90(3/4 tank fuel)+50(spare & jack)=3320lbs
Meanwhile the '88 coupe curb weight is listed as 3245lbs.

Curb weight is with all fluids, sans driver. I suspect the listed curb weight is the base Vette, without any options.
Sounds similar to me, 3333 with me in it (165lbs) so 3168 with 1/2-1/3 tank of fuel, spare, jack, etc.
