Default Sad Sad Day

Well that day has come for me to get rid of my turbo vette. I figured I'd post the link here were there may be a bit more interest.

I just can't drive the car to its fullest potential. I've seen the shift light go off once since I got the car out of storage. I was in a pretty bad accident this winter, slid off the road and hit a tree, and ever since I've been driving like an old lady.

Maybe someday I'll get the bug back, but for now its got to go. So if anybody is looking to get a cheap turbo corvette let me know.

Brian, I hate to see you selling that car. One things for sure, its a steal for someone. If I had not purchased Bruce's car, I would be heading to Michigan.
Good luck with the sale, again, you are giving it away.

Brian,

Hate to see you leaving us here in the FI section and moving the vette, but I understand with what you're saying. I noticed you have a new manifold on the passenger side of the car.. good looking piece.. PM me with some details and pictures if ya have some.. very interested in what ya did there!

this car has way more money in it then what he is selling it for... If anyone was in the market and had sense they would notice that the hard part is done and they could spend the extra money on paint and bringing the car back to new with a mild restoration. very good setup he has with all the bells and whistles!

best of luck with the sale Brian!

Chris

I feel your pain. I may have to sell my car to come up with the cash for my down on a house. I"m sure you 'll be back someday. It's hard to leave f/i especially when you like to tinker with stuff like us. Thanks for all the help over the last few years.

Well, hopefully it will sell fairly quickly. I really hate paying insurance on a car that I don't drive.

Its a good price with all the mods. I spend the past two weeks fixing all of the little things that don't work on the car. I just need to find someone with some cash and a "need for speed"

Just to let you guys know, if the car goes for my asking price I'm also going to throw in my 383ci longblock engine and twin disk McLeod Clutch.

The engine needs to be assembled but is all there. Those parts alone are worth another $4k or so.

That's about as sweet as I can make the pot.

Well, I didn't have much serious interest so off to ebay it goes. With a little luck it will sell.
