Used no-sieze grease on spark plug threads. Is this recommended by GM since they are aluminum heads? Is this a good or bad idea to use? Any thoughts? Thanks.
In my opinion, it is an excellent idea. I use the stuff on almost all threaded fasteners unless the torque spec calls for dry threads. I think on plugs going into aluminum heads where the plugs could be in there for years and years, Anti-seize or never-seize is a great idea.

It's important to realize that many manufacturer's torque specs may not include anti-seize on the threads if not specifically stated.
In many applications, you can easily exceed the torque spec if you set the wrench to the high side and add anti-seize to a dry spec fastener.
I have seen many alumionim motorcycle threads get damaged from over-tightening when anti-seize was added. Keep in mind that casting methods will also determine the strength of the part.
With this in mind, I'd adjust the torque setting to the lower side of the spec in these cases if you feel addding it is necessary.
