Need intake duct! Please help.
It’s for a L98, none MAF. The stock one is leaking, I fixed temporarily. Can someone point me to a URL where I can buy an aftermarket piece that is smooth unlike the long accordion one for less turbulence? Might as well improve that needs to me replaced! That has been the motto on this car so far. Please help, posted before with no luck a while back.

I believe Mid America has the smooth duct. Seems very expensive 45 - 50 dollars while a replacement from zip is $10.
There was a few posts a while back that said the quality of the smooth duct was questionable and there were problems with cracking.

You might try a traffic cone like that East coast racer was running. He had a LT1/4 with a MAF, but you might be able to find one. :D

No, seriously, mackeyred96 has, or had, an altered orange traffic cone as an inlet duct. So does tntcorvette.
Shucks, paint it black and it's definitely smoother than the bellows that comes with. And a whole *lot* cheaper than a Samco...

And you thought I was kidding.  I had seen the pictures, but couldn't remember if it was Mackey or one of his buds. I'm gonna try to come up with it when I get it back together.
