Trans Cooler.

It is probably a good idea to go with a trans cooler to reclaim fluid capacity and expand cooling capacity.
How about a finned tranny pan for additional cooling?
Questoins:
1. brands/applicaitons
2. Connections. I have seen where rubber hoses and hose clams were used on the tranny line. There has to be a more positive connection than that. Compression fittings perhaps?
3. In and out....from tranny to radiator, to cooler, then back to tranny. That sound right?
Thanks.

2)Again, this varies by brand. The one I purchased had barbs at one end, but recent posts have shown brands where -AN fitting can been used.
3)I did it that way, but you can also put it to the cooler first and then the stock cooler. However, I questioned why I would want to cool it down only to heat it back up? Keep in mind climate matters too. I don't have the problem with getting it hot - I live in Florida.
