Default 88..Need Help

My son recently purchased an 88 Corvette. It appears to have only 1 cooling fan...right behind the radiator. I believe the fan relay is shot but he can't locate it. He has been told it is located on the wheel well by the master cylinder...also been told ..no... on an 88 it's located on the front of the engine bay behind the fog light on the drivers side and then he was told it's located on the left side of the radiator shroud and that there are 2 relays not 1. He's lost...any help?

The main fan relay is located under the MC on the inside of the fender well.
If he has the booster fan in front of the radiator (RPOZ51 or RPOZ52) there will be an additional relay mounted on the LH side of the upper fan shroud near the upper radiator hose.

You can test fan operation by opening the small connector in the A/C pressure line in front of the blower motor housing and starting the engine. In this case the main fan should come on immediately.
