Brake squealing and some vibration
Have 91 Coupe with 48,000 original miles. I purchased it about 18 months ago. At that time, I had the brakes checked (45,500) and was told that I had a lot of pad left. Whenever I apply the brake quickly and firmly, I am hearing some squealing and I feel some vibration in the sterring wheel. Is this normal or should I have the rotors checked?

Probably just glazed. I'd pull the wheels to inspect and if they pad material looks decent just scuff the pads and rotors up with some emery, it will probabley be fine. If your pedal is pulsing a bunch, then rotors should be checked for warping, but before you do make sure the pad retainer clips on the edges are still there. Lube up the pins and contact points according to the manual and see how it goes.

sometimes squealing is caused by the pad being uneven, get up to speed and slam on brakes, this will usually heat them up enough to even the pads. Dont want to speculate on the steering though.
