Battery disconect / difficult startup?
However now when I first start the car up after sitting for a coupla days, its a real bear to keep running till its warmed up.
The car never was the easiest to get to idle after sitting for a while on startup. Its an 86 with a zz430 short block and mini ram intake, headers, larger throttle body, cold start injector was eliminated, etc. After the car finally warms up and I drive it a little it idles pretty good around 7-8 hundred rpm. Restarts are fine, no issues.
Is disconnecting the battery causing the computer to re-set or something? Then it "re-learns" while I'm driving maybe. How do I check the Idle control motor?
I know, just dont disconnect the battery everytime its going to sit for a while. I guess I'm more curious then anything. Any ideas? Thanks

I haven't figured out what they actually learn other than to accumulate diagnostic codes.
