A/C vacuum hose routing?

A/C vacuum hose routing?
'90 model
I know where the controller is under the driver's side, and I can see the vacuum hoses hooked up properly, but where does the vacuum hose pass through the firewall. I read it was on the passenger side, but I can't find it (I don't have it hooked up currently in the engine compartment so I can't follow the existing hose). Also can I see it on the inside where it passes through and what does it hook to?

Thank you so much. I didn't know the elec. a/c was still used vacuum for the doors so when I put my car back together I didn't even look for a vacuum hose to the inside........ and I would have never found that. BTW do you know if it will cause any harm if the check valve is bypassed?
