The opti was replaced 10K miles ago with the water pump. I am pretty sure it is okay.
Kind of strange, when I was driving it home, and i would acclerate a little hard (not wide open) it felt like it was choking very slightly. Any chance it could be a bad injector?
I have never ohm checked injectors. Can you describe the procedure? I am guessing that you uncap the wires from each injector and then measure the resistance? What is acceptable range?

the acceptable range on a multec 1 is 14-16 ohms. however if you find one under 10. unhook that one and try to start. A shorted injector will shut down the ECU. Even if you have 2 shorted it will start with 6 injectors if thats your problem. Watch the video in the sticky
