Okay, I believe in products that work. SO does this product work on engines? Not for my LT1, but for a engine nonethless. http://auto-rx.com/index.html
Bobs the oil guy forum loves it and recommends it,.
Hi.
I have used it. I have an 85 with the .....870 ECM and it does not work with that. The Autoxray I have seen used on newer models with the .....165 and newer ECMs and it works alright.
I have found a software on the net Winaldl which is good for my 870 ECM and should work good with many other ecms. The thing is that its free or they aske for donation if you are satisfied. ANd thats fair giving something for further development of the SW. You have to have a laptop and a cable for the aldld connector. Good luck The winaldl gives you a much better overview of the different parameters.
My opinion is that you should use a good quality oil. My choice is Mobil 1 in everything I own - except 2 strokes. Change the oil and filter regularly and you will not have a need for any additives/cleaners.
