Scan Tool Help
I recently got an OTC 3409 Scanpro Scantool and It is great! The only problem is that it does not have the software with it or instructions. Knowing that a lot of us do our own fixes on our own vettes, I was wondering if any of you have an extra disk laying around the house that you do not need....
Or something like that...please help..(By the way the tool is to work on the OTHER cars that I have..not on the old vette

1985 C4 Stock TPI L98 wife bought to keep my mind busy last birthday...lots of work to be done in it....

Today I was at a local shop inquiring about the software mentioned above...and after talking a while about the different machines..the owner of the shop turn around and told me ..I have an old machine that I do not use here...you can have it!! 
:cr azy:. I could not believe it!!!! but he gave it to me free of charge...now...the machine is an OTC 4000e...I think this one I can use for my C4 1985...but only have software for Asian from 1983-1991 and the cables....... Well i could not say no to FREE and I am growing my tool collection...well I felt blessed indeed!!! I still need the software for the OTC 3409 and now the Domestic software and cables for my vette's corresponding year....I'll keep you informed

Thanks a lot for the well wishes...I am sure I will get the Domestic software and cables for the old 4000e machine and the software for the otc3409....it just might take more time....but I'll get it...I keep checking Ebay for something similar....

It should be all you need for the '84, but that 3409 is fancy!LMK if you have any questions about the 4ke, I have a bunch of manuals and what not.
