Interesting, never seen that. maybe a reason why the LTx are a little quieter?

I wouldn't call it quieter. Just a little different. Both are quiet with partial throttle, no drone at all, but the sound is different. I would say that the LT-1 mufflers have a bit more raw growl, while on the other hand, the L98 mufflers have a bit more crisp, metallic and higher note 'when stepping on it'.

I am still in the rebuild process, but the guys at Corvette Connection tell me that their computer tells them it will produce something like 630 RWHP with 700 ft lbs of torque.

Here is the threat, with lots of technical stuff in the photo album. Look for this post, above...

320 rwhp 336 rwtq 90* day.

Completely stock LT1 with boltons.

UD pullies, SLP CAI, 1.6 RR's, Melrose complete exhaust, and a PCM4less mail order tune, 4:10 rear and dragradials it did a best of 13.00 @110.00 with a 2.1 60ft :/
