Default magnaflow cats

Hey guys. I ordered the magnaflow cats and they came backwards the boxes said each one belonged on the oposite side and the passenger side did not have a place to put the O2 sensor behind the cat. Is that odd. I called magnaflow and he said they were the direct fit parts and they dont come with a hole for that sensor. Has anyone put theese cats on there 94 part#23408/09 if so how did you solve this. They guy said he didnt want to weld the old O2 sensor to the new cats.
Thanks in advance.

primary 02 sensors go in front of cats. i've honestly never done an exhaust on an obd2 corvette but i have other obd2 cars. if they use a secondary 02 you will get a code if it isn't installed. the secondary 02 looks for less crap in the exhaust than the primary. do the 94s use a total of 4 02s?

What a pain in the culo. The purpose of buying a bolt on part is to bolt it back on...

welding all 3 O2 sensors

OBD-II requires an O2 behind the cat to monitor its performance. I think for the '94 MY GM started changing things to meet this upcoming requirement. That sucks they don't have the proper fitting for it. However, welding a new O2 bung on shouldn't be very hard for an exhaust shop to do?

you got the magnaflow part#23408 right? have you installed it already? cause, me and my brother just installed the magnaflow 23408 and I just love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty (the salt on the roads here in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here magnaflow 23408, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install.
