Default Mass Air Flow Sensor Question

Okay, there have probably been its share of MAF questions but here it goes again..hehe
First, I realized that as I would push the gas pedal my car would act as if it was not getting enough fuel. It would start poping up front in the engine compartment. Then it would not stay ideling...it would just kill off. First thing in my mind was that my fuel pump had given out but it didnt make sense since I had it replace about a year ago.
Next thing on my mind was that it was doing the same thing that it had done when I left my MAF disconnected and so I thought that was it and proceeded to making sure it was not dirty or loose, which it wasn't.
Finally, I just left it disconnected and the car stayed on just fine a little off on the idle but it stay on and it accelerated without the poping. So I went ahead and bought a new MAF, connected it and it still did the same thing. Now, I thought I had read that there are 2 relay sensors near the battery that go to this MAF but I only see 1 and the part number on it is gone.

Can anyone give me more info on this part number, or if I am missing something to check on/replace. Picture would be greatly appreciated.
Also, let me know if I am right on my approach in troubleshooting. My vet is a 1985.
Hehe, sorry for the long detail story. Let me know if there is more info I need to give to get helped.
Thanks

You are refering to the '85 specific burn off module. You should check it before replacing, pm me and I'll tell ya' how.

Pretty well actually. I still gotta use a little foot on cold starts to keep it running, but only for about 20 seconds...smooth sailing after that. I got 26mpg today on my trip home.

Something is still not perfect, but I'm very, very close.

CG: I'll get with you tomorrow and give you some routine items to check, such as tps voltage, maf voltage, etc.
