Running rich.....why?
Headers / block bored .040 / heads reworked 2.02 intake & .160 exhaust valves / 1.6 rollers / Hypervtetic Pistons / Comp Cam (duration @ .050 ... 224 intake & 230 exhaust) / 50mm throtle body / large tube runners / modified chip
All of this work was done several years ago. I buy the car 8 months ago. When I took the car in for a tune-up, we quickly find out that it is running too rich... A/F in the 9.5 range.
Next week we will do a complete dyno tune and modify the chip as needed.
So here is my question.....what could cause the rich condition in the first place? I know it wasn't this way when they first built the engine/car.
