Default Part # help needed

I am i need of help identifying two part numbers for front upper control arms, the numbers i have are #3083601 and 3090616. I think they may be from a 1984 but when i goggled and tried gm parts direct i came up with nothing. Is there a better site for identifying part numbers for the c4?

"Is there a better site for identifying part numbers for the c4?"

Sorry about my bad wording after reading my post again, it looks like i meant this site and that was not my intention, hope i did not offend anyone.

Thanks,
Wally Dog

Still no luck with the internet search, would a dealerships parts store be able to go this far back for these numbers?

in the parts for sale section here you will find some very good NOS parts sellers. They should be able to help you with part numbers as well as probably having a good price for those parts as well

Part numbers have probably been superceded with other ones. What parts are you looking for?

My parts CD shows PN14067598 rt. and PN14067597 lt. for 84-87 and
PN10258062 rt. and PN10258063 lt. for 88-96, all numbers are discontinued. The number stamped on the arms is not the part number, my 93 has 3051909 stamped on the lt. and 3197717 stamped on the rt.

Great information toptechx6 i still have not been able figure out what upper control arms i have since i all i can find on them are 3083601,3082611, and another single loose part 3090616. I tried a few vendors here and called one of our local Chevrolet dealers and they can only tell me numbers like the ones you posted PN140 so i am lost as how to identify what i have for upper control arms

My only suggestion would be to inspect some other 84 to 87 cars to see what numbers are stamped on the control arms, if they match I would assume yours are the early style.
Just had another thought, you might try asking a wrecking yard, they have some cross reference books that may show stamping numbers, hope that helps and good luck.
