Water pump weep hole fitting?

Water pump weep hole fitting?

I seen in one of these threads where they put a fitting and hose on back of the new water pump in the weep hole? Can not find it again.
Easy to do? should it be done?

I would think it could be done. You will have to remove the pump, tap it and screw in the fitting and attach the hose. Position the hose and fasten it in some way that it would not get sucked into any belts. I would think that this would be a good thing for any car with the opti.

use an aluminum tappered fitting, not a plastic one. The heat from the WP will destroy a plastic fitting in no time. I have never done it, but this is a common sense thing......
