Ignition Lock Installation?
I have purchased a new ignition lock set snd new keys for my VATS-controlled 86 Vette. I am thinking about having the local Chevy dealer install it. Has anyone had their dealer do this for them and, if so, what should I expect to pay to have this done?

I did the job myself. Took about 1 1/2 hours using the Haynes manual for guidance. The toughest part was threading the VATS wires down the steering column. You will need a steering wheel puller and a lock plate compressor is helpful but not absolutely necessary.
