Default Any Mini Ram users out there?

I hear a lot of people on here talking about the Super Ram and not that much about the Mini Ram.
Im trying to do some home work for the mods that I want to do to my car I dont want to put to much money in to it so I feel like the Super Ram is out since it cost so much.
So I was thinking about getting the Mini Ram, can I know it does not have as much TQ as the other but since Im going to 396ci I think I will make some of that up what do you all think?
Im going to do this in steps first Im doing a gear change (thanking about going to 3.54) then Im going to get some headers and take the cats off after that I was thinking about porting the head and getting a cam and at last going to get a Mini Ram, I want to do the Super Ram but I dont think I want to spend $1600 for just the intake I can do the Mini Ram heads and cam for that.
I want to get eveything ready so when I have to rebuild the engine I can go to 396ci with all that stuff, I know I will have to change the cam then and that is ok.
So I was wondering what you guys out there think about my plan? is it worth doing or sute I do something different?

Im looking forward to see what you all think.
Jay

PS I was going to put a Procharger on it but you guys talked me out of it.

I was saying that I think I could do all that for about that much not that the Mini Ram would cost that much.
This is what I was saying:
Mini Ram $1300
Cam $300
Heads $100

Total $1700 maybe less if I shop smart.

Jay

PS Can I use anything of the TPI on the Mini Ram?

tntcorvette can I use the injectors too?
I know they will be to small for the 396 but would they do ok on the 350 with the head, cam and intake?
How big of a injectors do you have to have for the 396?

Need to know what cam/what heads/what hp will it make then you decide what size injectors.

I would estimate that the factory injectors would be marginal, even with the increased fuel pressure, when stepping up to the MRII. I will say that to support the MRII, you are going to need a healthy cam, which negates the use of these injectors. Do your homework, thoroughly research your game plan, and you will be happy with you results.

As stated above, determine your hp requirements, and then size your injectors accordingly.

Best of Luck,
Aaron
