Muffler installation IN Chicago?
I recently aquired a new set of magnaflow mufflers for my 92 LT1. (the Axleback kit #15623) from performancepeddler. Now i want to install it. While I would normally be up for a simple job like this myself, I live in a condo on the lakefront in chicago and have no access to workspace required to do this work, let alone ramps and tools.
Can anyone reccommend a place IN Chicago that I could get this done over the weekend? I have searched for reccommendations on this forum but everything anyone reccomends is WAAAAY out in the north, west, or south burbs. I would rather not have to drive an hour + to get this done and am hoping someone or someplace within the city (north side of town, anywhere between the loop and Evanston) and no further west than I-94.

Any decent automotive shop can install them for you...piece of cake job. They can either be welded or just clamped. Just be sure to oversee the work so that they get mufflers tucked up as close to the car as possble, the tips straight, as well as the tips sticking out the rear the distance you want them.
