Default P0300 code on 1996

I was here a couple of weeks ago with issues. Now I'm back!!!!!
The issues last week ended up being water in my fuel tank. I finally figured this out after replacing the opti. After I got the car up and running again now I have a new issue. It's a p0300 code. I have replaced the opti, plugs, wires and fuel filter. I have checked all vaccum lines and they are secure.
The car will start just fine and seems to miss less when cold. After warming up the miss tends to be stronger but it still has very strong acceleration.
I have checked the fuel pressure, its fine. I have check the ohms on the injectors they are fine. I dont really know how to check the egr but what I did with it was unplug the vaccum line to it and it made no difference. Shouldn't it have made a difference when the egr vacuum is unplugged? I pressed on the inside of the egr and it made the car die.
I siphoned all of the water/fuel out of the tank and turned the car over untill all of the fuel/water was out of the line. I then refilled the tank with fresh fuel and I have not run all of it out of the car yet. I did add a can of heat to the fuel tank, this is suppose to remove any of the water that could have been left in the tank.
I suppose my question is , what elese could the water have messed up as I was turning the car over and pumping it through the fuel system?Would getting water into the system have made the injectors go foul? get rusty? etc.?

Thanks, Jerry

Go back and double check the ignition wires at the opti, very easy to cross them.

Default Code PO300

On my LT4 it was the coil wire shorting out on the back of the water pump. I know you have replaced the wires, but double check the coil wire. P0300 is RANDOM misfire.
