Default Track day tomorrow

Centerforce is in, slicks are on, skinnies are on, bottle is full and Fayetteville Motorsports Park is rented by a local site for gearheads, www.horspowerjunkies.com. Tomorrow is going to be a good day and even better if I make it in to the 10's.

10.80 @ 130 is the goal, but it going to be hot and humid tomorrow and the DA is still low from Hanna passing through last night. Wish me luck representing the C4s.

He didn't hit the 10's, but he will next time out. DA was horrible, I bet it was over 3000 feet corrected elevation out there.

I'll let Chris share the times, but the 10's are easily in the car's future. I'm also pretty sure I know what he'll say about the clutch, but I don't want to speak for him.

I went with the Centerforce Dual Friction using the dual mass flywheel. I'm convinced that the dual mass is what saves the rearend from breaking with sticky tire. Even though I really didn't give the clutch time to break in good, it performed flawlessly. It didn't slip a bit even on the smack.

Still a dual mass and definitely like it. Soft hit like a stocker, but no slip. No problem barking 3rd on drag radials. Haven't tried 4th yet

I've just got to be fast enough to stay ahead of Neat now that he's got his heads, cam, and intake swap on the ol' L98...or maybe LT98 is the better descriptor now.

if my dual mass wasn't shot i would have reused it. i think that you are right about the rear. they aren't as hard hitting. nice runs. wish i had the time to play with mine.
