how hard is it to install fx3 (variable mode setup) suspension into a car that was not equipped with it origanally?

I'm a firm believer that anything can be done if you have enough $$$ and time and desire. A better question is asking is it worth doing? I think not. I bet ya' it would be cheaper to sell the car and buy one that has it. Unless you have to have a cadaver car to get the stuff out of it for free.

But people do all sort of :rolleyes: things. Swap autos for manuals, make coupes into convertables, shoe-horn big blocks into vettes.... (Well, I understand the need to spend $10,000 into an engine for a car that is worth $500 - the need for horsepower is hereby excempted from all rules of logic or economics :lol: )

Your better spending the money on an adjustable suspension system. Bilstein Shocks, Coilovers with adjustable ride height, Remove front & rear leaf springs - just done it all and the difference between the old and new handling is fantastic. It was cheaper over here to get a complete new system than have the old stuff replaced. You'll need SRC Module, 4x Actuators, 4x Adjustable Bilstein Shocks, and lots of labour = BIG $$$

yeah i guess i should have said adjustable suspension. i dont care what brand or if its tok or not but since c4 ride quality is hard enoguh to begin with it would be kinda nice to be able to choose between a little bit more civilized ride and an all out cornering sports car if i wanted to can you get a adjustable setup with the little dial thing in the middle if the console like came stock?
