Hello all. It has been a while since I last posted. Tonight when I went out and started my 90 vert all segments of the lcd lit up and stayed on. It doesn't read out anything. I have disconnected the battery to see if that would fix it but no.
Also, my infl rest light stays on and I get a code 35. I can't seem to find a list of codes anyplace.
Can anyone help me with either of these problems?
I think maybe the car is mad since I don't drive it anymore and I am trying to sell it.

i have a 90, and although i don't have the problems you address, the "infl rest" warning light may be inherent to the 1990 corvette. a friend of mine told me that with the 90's, it might be a bad ground. there might be a TSB out on this, or other information. google infl rest 1990 corvette. there is a lot that comes up on that subject. cant help you on the LCD, problem, but since the problems happened at the same time, they may be, somehow, related. from what i've read, the "infl rest" may be an easy fix - cleaning a sensor ground point. with a little luck, that may fix your display problem. good luck - keep us informed...

Mine has it, and I haven't cleaned them up yet. Common problem, check the main page there's a write up on what needs to be done. There is a chance the sensor is bad too, but try the ground first.
#35 is inflator squib current open circut. Try this, Remove the side panels behind the front wheels. On the passenger side you will also have to remove the windshield washer tank and to make it easy on the drivers side remove the battery. Now look on the top of the frame rails near the firewall and you will see the small black sensors. When doing any work on these sensors DISCONNECT THE BATTERY! Remove the sensor from the frame and then take a Dremel or some type of grinder and clean the frame area where the sensor sits of rust, paint or dirt or scale. Now clean the bottom of the sensor well. Apply some Dielectric grease to the bottom of the sensor and frame area that you cleaned also. Replace the sensor on the frame. When I reinstalled mine I also put a small star washer on the bolts to help make a better ground. Sometimes the sensor gets unplugged. You can find the 3 prong (round) plug in the footwell area way up where your toes would be. Peel back the carpet and you can find them(they are yellow in color) and make sure they are pushed together. After you get her back together you will have to clear the code to get the INFL REST/SEATBELT light to go out. If this don't work then a sensor is bad. It's usually the right hand side that goes out.
