Default D44 ratios ?

3.07 was the "std " ratio for D44 behind the 4+3 trans; 1985 -'88
What other factory ratios were offered in those years?

Looking to buy one interstate and seller knows nothing except hand brake is on backing plate = early diff .

3.08D44 was the only ratio available in the D44 for the 4+3. There were 2.59D36 in early auto coupes, 2.73D36 in early auto convertables, and 3.07D36 in performance ratio autos.

they had the e-brake, backing plate up till 1988, 1988 and on, went with caliper based e-brake. would make this a 3.07, if OEM.

comprehended this, after my post. 4+3 was used -1988. 1989 was the 6 speed
