targa tops
whats the deal with targa tops on late model c4s guys?
did all coupes come with removable top sections? if not then is there a number or a letter in the vin that will tell me? i am very close to buying a vett now and am looking at a lot of ads and trying to gain as much knowledge in them as i can beofre i make a purchase.

All '84-'96 coupes have a Targa Top.
Some only came with a fiberglass top painted to match the car, and some came with the fiberglass top and a lexan(?) top. The clear top (commonly refered to as a glass top) was available in two different tints, blue and bronze.

FYI, you could also get the car with just the lexan (glass) top.
