Default Shift Points

I'm trying to tune the shift points on my car and need to know where some of you guys have shifted your cars on stock internals and what is safe . I'm just wondering at what Rpm valve float occurs on the LT1 on the stock internals . Car is a 94 auto by the way .... Thanks .

I would leave the shift points at the stock 5700,you won't gain anything by changing them at this point if you are stock.

I just played with mine today. I was told not a good idea but mine were so out of wack for my gears but now it just keeps going instead of hitting the blank spot in the rpms it shifts in torque band and shifts harder and kicks down on its own but I am going to learn more about it, because I will have gears and intake soon for next season!
mine are about the same now and before at wot I was like 74 mph in 2nd gear rediculous just stayed in the rpm wall gross!
