Default Hypertech power pulley #3072 HELP!!!

I'm looking at buying a Hypertech power pulley part #3072 2 piece set crank pulley and alt pulley. My question is, does the Hypertech crank pulley replace my balencer/damper? This is for my 92 LT1 Vette. I look all over the internet and couldn't get a firm answer. PLEASE help as I have to give the person an answer tonight.

Usually the crank pulley and damper are separate units, why would you expect them to be combined in the HyperTech case??

FWIW, I've seen some where you replace the pulley/damper with the underdrive pulley. Then you screw the stock pulley/damper to that so that the damper still works. It looks a little odd, but how often do you look down there?

Not sure about the LT1 setup due to the Opti but on the L98 the damper sets behind the pulley and is attached to the splined CS by one center bolt, the pulley then slides over the CS and is held to the damper by three bolts. When replacing the pulley there is no reason to touch the damper.

I'm pretty sure that my LT1 crank pulley and damper are one piece. When you buy a new damper/balence for my LT1 it comes with the pulley built into it. Thats why I'm asking this question to make sure I don't end up with some shady set up. But I guess I will find out as I bought the set up last night for $55.00.
