I have just recently finished a stall upgrade and rear gear swap, 2.59 down to 3.07. I'm lovin it btw...it's like a different car! Feels like I added a 50hp mod! I have a slight vibration though. It appears to be in the converter and not the drive train as I can put the car in neutral and coast and not feel it. Is a slight vibration normal because of the faster spinning converter? Any of you experience something like this? Should I loosen the converter and rotate it one bolt on the flywheel? -Mike
Suggest bringing up the rpm in neutral & if you can feel the vibes try the converter relocation as mentioned.
If that is not the problem try flipping the driveshaft 180* at the companion flange. Same for the 1/2 shafts. Suggest doing one thing at a time & test after each change.
Good luck.

Thanks, I was thinking about the drive shaft as I put in a different differential. But that would show up coasting in neutral wouldn't?
When I first started it up and still on the stands to fill the TC with oil it had quite a vibration in neutral. It went away gradually though.
It could just be me not being use to a loose converter. It's not horrible by any means just there. GF actually commented.... I feel a vibration.
