Default Cylinder head ?

I got a set of bare casting LT1 ported heads and I want to put them on my car. I called Summit and they told me I needed to know the valve size and length. Does anybody know what the intake & exhaust sizes are stock and what the lengths are and does anybody sell everything I need in a kit?

Thanks!!

Is it measured by overall length or by the length of the shaft?

I'm not an LT1 expert, so check this out yourself .....
or maybe call the vender up.
But you could start here.

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...id=11&pcid=158

Then take the numbers 11521-8 and add MAN-11521-8 and search summit for spec's and a better price

There's some real good books on rebuilding LT1's, I suggest you get one as a reference.

Also get the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your year.

You'll also need valve seals (maybe that is what you meant by stems?) and spring seats (sometimes they're referred to as shims, other times spring locators).
