TV Cable leak....oring or rubber boot ?
Hi,i just installed my trans,and i put back in the tvcable with a plastic cap on the boot,it started to leak.-
I don't remember what was originally there
a rubber boot or just an o-ring ?
i took it away and put the boot plus an oring,the leak is gone but came back in little drops (not always)
what goes there ?

Calderone; Not sure about Vettes, mine is a ZF but in my 32 that during the 700 install, the TV cable installation can easily cut the rubber seal and then you have to replace it with a new one. Better change it out now to be sure and I usually put some RTV around the dipstick area too.
