KYB rear shock bushings???
Just installed new KYB rear shocks on my 1992. Pretty easy, but ran into one "problem". The stock Bilsteins that came off had a rubber bushing and part of it actually fits through the metal plate that screws into the frame with two screws. I'm talking here about the upper part of the shock. The bushings that came with my KYBs did not have this. I'm wondering if they will "move" at all once installed, since that small rubber "nipple" is not there? Anyone done this and noticed the same thing? Will I encounter this when I do the fronts as well. Also, I called the local Chevy dealer here and they said the stock bushings are discontinued. Any of the major saftermarket Vette catalogs sell them???
