Hopefully a simple ??

87 (L98 stock) that has knocking or ticking noise from all injectors. Since it's coming from all injectors, I'm assuming that this is normal?? I can put my finger on each one and feel it ticking, it's actually louder than a tick, but not as loud as a rod knocking. Trying to be precise. Thanks for any advice

If it's just coming from the injectors, that's pretty normal. It means that they are actually opening and closing.

If the Injectors have been replaced with Ford Pink top injectors, they're prone too a loud ticking sound.

be glad they are clacking loudly. softly ticking injectors are on their way out. The softly ticking injectors i checked out have low resistances when hot.
