Damn,i knew it
since days ago,the release handle has a "loose" feeling
until yesterday,it won't open,i had to take it off and leave the cables alone, and open the hood, pulling the cables themselves
one of the little retaining "heads" of the cables is broken, and the crossbolt that holds the hood release handle is loose,i don't know what's the problem, the handle or the cables (with no head)
i want to get it together soon, and i forgot the "emergency" cable release solution that we had posted here on the board with 2 plastic clamps.-
thanks ! any ideas ?
The first thing you have to do is install the little cables on the releases so if you have problems with the cable you can still get your hood open..I put them on my 89 and it only took 20 minites, now if a cable brakes all I have to do is pull the wires and the hood opens right up....

Hi Slalom,i've been busy installing new Bosch III injectors, thermostat and o2 Sensor
but i will give it a try asaic, none of the cables are broken,i think the head is repairable,
i will try to reinstall them on the handle again and will tight the cross bolt.-
