Default New motor ?

Is it safe to assume that if i install a new motor, along with new injectors that I will have to reset base idle, along with all of the adjustments with the throttle body, like the IAC and such?

Yes. If you transfer parts over, you will be close when you start the new engine up. If you change the cam, you will have to get a new chip. Unless the cam is the same or very close to what you have now.

Thanks John,
I went from a stock L98 to a zz4 crate motor. I believe the cams are similar. The reason I ask is i'm fighting a high idle problem. I cant find any vacuum leaks, and timing is set. I thought I would try adjusting and cleaning the throttle body
