Pulled the car into the garage yesterday and smelled gas. Not good.
Pulled apart the intake, and my leak. I believe its the fuel rail return line, on the back side of the fuel rail (left rail). Is there supposed to be an o-ring or something there? I've had this thing apart so many times, I should know by now.
On a semi-related note, I'm having problems with my fuel gauge sender too. Is this just a bad string of luck, or is this ethanol related?

The back side of left fuel rail on 86 should go to cold start injector. I would think there would be oring as they are everywhere else. Ethanol is causing a lot of problems with small motors and wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't part of your fuel level problem. Sorry but no idea how to fix that one.
I have a 1985 c4 .I have a fuel leak right where the fuel line connects on the pasenger side up front. Is there an O-ring at the conection or do I need to replace the unit.
if one leaks they will ALL leak soon as you reassemble and run.
Get the vitron o-ring kit and be done with it. It takes a fetter ring, barrel type ring in the CS valve. Set o-rings in vasoline, once :set: do not twist,,that tears them.
