Default Injectors O-ring question

Is there a way to remove (and most important) TO INSTALL O-ring on injectors without ruin it?

It seem that the FMS injectors I have, are equipped with good o-rings, but, it seems that the bung on the modified Single plane I'm planning to use are a bit too large to have a good seal.

There are in the market O-rings sligtly "fatter" than the on on the FMS.

I don't want to buy and then hav they ruined because I install them in wrong way..

I used a dab of assembly lube on mine. May not be the "right" way to do it, but it kept the o-rings from getting sliced up.

I agree with using lube. As far as installing the O-rings on the injectors, I used a long sharp pick and got the needle underneath the ring, then slipped the needle underneath from the bottom. Then you put the point on the flange and force the ring up and over. The pick is very sharp, so I was careful to not nick or tear the ring.

Installed (note motor oil in cap. This helped the lubrication process and was helpful when installing the fuel rail into the manifold)

Not a big issue we used a dental pick and some high temp grease. Getting the new ones on was not hard but don't forget to put some GOOD grease on them prior to installation on the manifold.

Good Luck wro87
