Replacing front main seal ...any others?
I am having a leaky front main seal aka crankshaft seal replaced at the chevy dealership on Monday for my '96 LT4. While they are in there are there any other seals that I should ask them to replace as preventative maintenance even if they are not leaking right now?
thanks,
trebor
What was their quote, BTW? I plan on doing this myself, but may decide to suck it up if I can't find the time. The REAL holdup, though is the hotcam decision. "While I'm in there", and all...

I asked them to give me an estimate and he said the estimated labor hours is between 3-4 at $90/hour. So figuring in $20 for the seal, $20 ish for anti freeze so a bit south of $500.
