Corvette Central in Sawyer MI has the best price for rebuilt tracks by far.

Great! :) But..... I need to go hang out in the C3 forum - I'm finding waaaaay too many projects here to do on my '87!!! You guys need to quit doing this! :lol: My poor neglected '70 needs me to get back to working on her. :lol:

Just replaced mine on the driver's side of my '92. Bought it (rebuilt one) from ZIP for $169 exchange. It took about 30-45 minutes to replace. Really pretty easy.

I'm having one replaced under warranty in my 96. GM is charging GM $450 for the part.

Ya gotta love those beancounters.

I've had 3 driver side tracks go bad on me, two were new ones. I had the first new one replaced by GM outside of warranty. Didn't cost me a dime. Then 6 months later it went bad again and they replaced it for free again. I bought a couple of used ones as spares now. GM did a terrible job of designing this thing. The stupid gear box in the assembly goes bad, preventing travel in certain directions and grinds. I only drive my car on weekends and use the power seats with care, yet they still went bad!
