I have finally started on replacing my injectors (from FIC). 3 of the clips just spread wide open with I moved the clockwise and are not re-usable. Most of the clips are kinda rusty and rough and I would like to replace all of them. Is this a GM only thing? The guy at at Advance Auto said his Rustang injectors don't have these clips and are held down only by the fuel rail.
Thanks,

If you have the Design III injectors from John at FIC, the instructions state NOT to reuse the c-clips or use them at all. Simply put the new injectors in the intake first and then put on the fuel rail.
