Default Oddball "rare" intake

Here's a direct link to the auction if you're intested. I found it while looking for a reasonably priced Stealth Ram or perimeter bolt TPI intake.

SLP Intake Manifold TPI

DESCRIPTION

I have an SLP T-Ram intake which originally came in the 91-92 Firehawks. This intake is good for about 50 Hp over the stock TPI intake, and also makes power up to 6500 RPM, compared to the stock TPI maxxing out at 4500 RPM. This intake is very rare, with only about 200 ever produced. 25 Firehawks were built with these and less than 200 were sold through Summit. The rumor goes that a fire destroyed the original molds for them.

This one is in great condition. I have never used it, bought it off of someone, but now i need the money for a motor, so im selling it. The inside is very clean so it couldn t have been used for very long. It has no porting work done to it, and no bolt holes are stripped. All bolts are included as well.It comes with throttle bracket. The intake gaskets are also in perfect condition. The bolt pattern is for 89-92 Tpi motors, but to make it fit earlier Tpi set-ups, the inner bolt holes would have to be sightly modified. This includes Camaro, Corvette, Firebird, Trans am, and Formula. This thing out performs intakes like the Super-ram and Stealth-ram, and it is definately a cool and unique piece of automotive history. This thing will turn heads. This price is a steal compared to the other T-am on ebay that is listed for $2,500!

Please look at my photobucket account, there are alot of pics. The other parts pictured are also for sale, just go to photobucket.com and search simz28.

This auction was cancelled by ebay because I had links to other places on here. If you would like any other info or websites about the t-ram of the Firehawk, just email me.

Feel free to aks any questions, Thanks and good luck.

Additional fuel rails are not needed, they are built into the intake.

If he didn't want so damned much for it, i would be inclined to buy it for the "WTF" factor.

I see one pop up every now and then, they're cool but people always want way to much for them.

These are a fairly well known, considering how few were actually made. They make about the same power a Miniram, without all the cost. They are all very expensive, and I don't see a reason to buy one unless you need it for a Firehawk.

"These are a fairly well known, considering how few were actually made"

Been 2 of these for sale over on 3rd Gen in the last 3 months; no buyers at $1600 with TB.

Should this not be over in C4 For Sale?

This thing out performs intakes like the Super-ram and Stealth-ram

Really?Where is the proof?Just saying it does mean nothing...back up the ad with some dynos done on the same engine with different intakes.

Just adding this INTAKE doesnt make the engine scream, theres alot of other mod factors required such as cam, heads, rockers, exhaust, and other mods.

I remember when the T rammed Firehawks came out and cost nearly 50 grand, made around 350 HP back in 91 and 92.Was a nice car but very very expensive for its time.I loved them cars but only seen them in magazines and one at a car show.

Back to the subject, too many other intakes available today to perform the same goals, etc. for alot less. The cool factor is nice, but unless your restoring a Firehawk that needs a T ram, theres no reason to spend so much either.
