Stripped spark plug hole
Have a stripped spark plug hole in 96 alm head. Anyone ever use the KD back side thread chaser? (Collapsed rod with tap is inserted into head, rod is expanded and engaged with bottom threads and backed out cutting/clearing threads)

I haven't used that one in particular. Chasing the threads from the front or back is simple as ling as there is a bit of thread left. The tap will engage and re-cut. But from my experience, if the threads ar too far destroyed you might have to helicoil it.

Thanks for a great tip! I will have to remember this, they beat the dickens out of a helicoil.
