Default 1985 Window regulator - again
I'm recently bought my first Vette (I'm still smiling) and I'm installing a ribbon in the driver door but I don't have the old ribbon. The new ribbon is very long and I don't know how to determine the correct length of the ribbon without tearing into the passenger door? Can anyone help?

I guess it is called the window regulator.

You have to remove aluminum cover.

Just install it and then power it up and cut off the excess.

23" should work. That's what I cut a replacement ribbon down to. I pulled out a factory ribbon that was 21.5".
