I posted a long message in C6 tech/performance - you can see it here. It describes a mathematical approach I derived to calculate 0-60 MPH times from your timeslips. I'm interested to learn if it agrees with any 0-60 data any of you have from other sources, such as real-time OBDI recordings. What do you think?
Well, no. I thought I was rather sufficiently educated, but after reading the linked thread, I'm not sure I can even input all the parameters correctly. Perhaps I just need to study Spanish!
Actually I did try it. Results are as folows:
0-60 time: 5.36 sec.
0-60 feet: 280 ft.
1/8th speed: 81 mph (missed by +0.15 mph)
Another slip: 5.63 sec., 283 ft., 80 mph (missed by -0.33 mph
If I could get these 11" Summoto's to hook up, times would be much better. And talk about tire spin shifting into second, it does, big time. Shakes it's A**!
