L98 Header Gaskets
I just ordered some headers from TPiS for my '90 and I was wondering what type of gasket I should use on the stock head? Round port or square?

I know Fel-pro makes a 1205 intake gasket, is that the same number for the exhaust gasket? That doesnt seem to make sense...

Here's what I'm using. Little pricy, but they're reusable and they seal.
I know they're listed for the LT1, but a '90 has '113 heads that have essentially the same raised D-port as the LT1.

I used Percy's Aluminum sandwich type gaskets for the SLP headers on my L98 Formula. Worked fine for many miles. I also used Stage 8 locking bolts.

I'm also using Earl's Pressure Master Header Seals like Mick posted. I've have had them for a few years with no issues.
Sorry, I don't recall the exact part number or port size and shape that I used.
The aluminum retainer may have needed some grinding to clear the #8 plug (113 heads). I remember the installer bitching about this.
