So I let my girl drive my vette over the weekend while I was out fishing.. Come Sunday I go to change my oil, jack the car up and find my front left side of my sub frame bent up 2 inches.. So I confronted her about it and she said "ohh... I think I may have accidentaly hit a curb.." WHAT THE HELL!!! I've been looking for a replacement but have had no luck any suggestions?

Have you contacted a GOOD body shop? They should be able to straighten yours. If it is too far gone then give Jason a call at Vette2Vette, (815) 673-6200, he will have one for you. If she bent the frame then you probably have other suspension pieces that are also bent, the body shop would be able to find that too.
I think its actually a engine cradle.. Can you get a pic of that?
If you bend the engine cradle upwars by 2", then the frame rail will also have to go up at the same time. You can unbolt the engine cradle and replace that, but the frame rail will have to be pulled by a competent body shop.
The engine cradle is not that difficult to change, but you will need to make sure you get the correct year span, as '85-'87 are the same, and '88-'91, then I believe '92-'96 as well.
Damn, how hard do you have to hit a curb to take out the engine cradle?

Your telling me... But I have had the frame checked they told me I was good.. But the cradle is like crushed.. Hard to explain.. I'll send pics if I can..
